Solidway v0.1.0 is released under AGPL-3.0; source and releases are on GitHub. This documentation is being rewritten against the release — pages outside Quick start and Reference still describe planned behaviour. The current reference lives in docs/getting-started.md and docs/architecture.md in the repository.
CLI
The flags the binary accepts. Everything else is configured in the console.
solidway <data_root> [options]
The binary takes a data directory as its only positional argument. Everything else — routes, credentials, keys, bind address, TLS, cooldowns — lives in the database under that directory and is edited in the console.
Flags
| Flag | Purpose |
|---|---|
--mode <desktop|standalone> |
standalone by default. desktop enables restart requests and exits when stdin closes (used by the desktop app). |
--listen <addr> |
Override the bind address and port for this run. Not persisted to the database. |
--web-assets <dir> |
Serve the console from a directory instead of the embedded copy. |
--master-key <hex|base64> |
Supply the 32-byte master key directly. Recovery use only. |
--reset-password |
Put the admin account back into the unset-password state and exit. |
-h, --help |
Print usage. |
Startup events

The listener is bound |
bootstrap token=… url=… |
One-time bootstrap URL (standalone, admin not yet initialised) |
desktop-login url=… |

Lines containing tokens are never written to solidway.log.
Exit and signals
| Signal | Effect |
|---|---|
SIGTERM / SIGINT |
Flush usage, write the runtime snapshot, stop the child processes, exit |
| stdin EOF (desktop mode only) | Same as SIGTERM — the supervisor is gone |
