Discovery and binding

Devices are discovered after they are plugged in. The console shows the capabilities each device actually supports and lets you bind a model or override the default behavior per device.

Testing without hardware

The mock device still exercises the full agent report → aggregation → device command path, which is useful for development and demos without a physical light.

Protocols

Serial protocols, the hardware checklist and hardware details live in the repository’s docs/ directory. Protocol changes update those docs before the console.
